Aristotle once said that "Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all."
Patha-Bhavan is a school with a difference. Established in 1965, by a group of enlightened teachers, all leading intellectuals and educationists in their own right, the institution was initiated as a school upholding the educational ideals of Rabindranath Tagore, thus the same name as the great poet's own school established at Santiniketan. It follows closely Tagore's belief that 'childhood should be given its full measure of life's draught, for which it has an endless thirst'. Here learning is an enjoyable experience, that fosters growth and safety, while ensuring holistic development. What sets Patha Bhavan apart from others is the personal touch in the grooming of young minds.
While we do not believe in competition, we do boast of a consistently good academic record and our students have topped in board examinations (X and XII). We have carved a niche for ourselves not only in the academic sphere but also in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, where our students shine brighter than ever.
As the saying goes - ‘change is the only constant’; the entire world had to experience a drastic change in every aspect of life through a global pandemic, which paved the way for a hybrid method of teaching-learning, combining offline classroom learning with online virtual classes. As our schooling system and society in general, gear up to accept and incorporate the use of technology in education, we are hopeful to see greater efforts to empower our children to thrive and make a positive impact in the world.
